One of our challenge is to minimize the environmental impact of our business as much as possible. 

Thanks to the expansion of our photovoltaic system, we are now able to generate the energy needed to cover the entire production process and a surplus which, when fed into the grid, contributes to meeting the energy needs of the company’s headquarters district.

The introduction of an advanced wastewater purification system and advanced technology for washing the plants has allowed us to reduce the consumption of water necessary to carry out the activity by approximately 50%.

Vitalfarco constantly invest in the research of raw materials with low environmental impact and active ingredients from up-cycling, as well as adopting complete ecofriendly packaging, like FSC certificated cardboard, PCR Plastic and Green PE, the special bioplastic made from sugar cane that allows to capture CO2 from the atmosphere instead of introducing it.

Our commitment to sustainability is embodied in a plastic consumption mitigation project aimed at reducing the environmental impact from Sun Lovin’ product packaging.

By partnering with Ogyre, a company engaged in the collection and recovery of plastic from the seas, we are actively helping to limit the dispersion of plastic into the environment. In this way, we balance the impact of our packaging, promoting a more responsible and sustainable cycle for the planet.
